"Hurricane Irene may threaten the lakes. We have no idea how much rain will impact the lakes, plus the fact rain is in the forecast in advance of Irene. Most likely a decision will be made to open one valve today or tomorrow on Lake Asbury. A decision to open both Lake Asbury valves will be evaluated and a judgement call will be made as the time passes.
Lake Asbury valves must be open before the South lake Asbury valve can be opened. The South Lake Asbury valve will eat up the valves on Lake Asbury in a hurry so we must have room on Lake Asbury for the water from South Lake Asbury."
